Tom met Kristina in Puerto Escondido, and she decided to join us for the journey south. Since the swell had almost completely dropped off, we went to check out Mazunte, a little hippy village with no surf spots but a lot of meditation, yoga and reiki on offer.

With three people to split the cost of the room, we were able to get a prime location on the beach overlooking the calm bay. Even the shower and toilet offered great sea views.
