This week I wrote two modules for managing MySQL in Ansible, and they are now committed by the maintainer to the devel branch. It’s a very cool open source project to contribute to, still early days so there’s a lot of work that can be done. The code base is clean and easy to integrate with. The IRC channel is very active. Also, it’s Python. :)
