For over a year, my team has worked hard to deeply integrate the platform with Fastly’s CDN, and the results have been amazing.

We used microservices, written in Go, to authorize and issue Let’s Encrypt certificates (ACME protocol), and deploy them to Fastly entirely automatically. I’ve learnt a ton about HTTPS, CDNs, DNS and the foundational infrastructure of the internet.
